Grant County Marriage Records
Grant County marriage records contain information about legal marriages in Grant County. The Grant County Clerk's Office is the official custodian of Grant County marriage records. While anyone can request marriage records in Grant County, certified copies are restricted to the spouses, their immediate family, or legal representatives.

Grant County Birth Records
The New Mexico Bureau of Vital Records and Health Statistics is the official custodian of birth records in the state. However, Grant County residents have access to these records through the Grant County Public Health Office.
In New Mexico, birth certificates only become public 100 years after the date of birth. Access to those less than a century old is restricted to the registrant, immediate family, or legal representatives.

A person’s death record is closed to the public for 50 years in New Mexico, with access before this time only limited to the immediate family of the deceased or those with verifiable legal interest, such as estate administrators.
